Espesuras (Thickets) is a series of views of the landscape from its own interior, where the abundant vegetation hides the horizon. This series goes deep into the Sierra María-Los Vélez natural park, in Almería (Andalucía, Spain) and it spans throughout the four seasons. It is an area covered in Aleppo pines, rosemary, thyme, wheat, oats, almond trees and poppies, among others. The images were captured during the sunset, minutes – and even seconds – before the sun disappeared.
